Sampling the new Korean restaurant that opened up in Vallejo. I really wish the best to anyone willing to open a restaurant right now. Food was pretty good and portions were generous. I'll definitely be back.
I tried Korean Mammas Cooking for lunch today I had the Beef Bulgogi lunch special it was wonderful I will be back. If you go eat here your mouth will thank me.
I'm so excited Mamma's opened. I love Vietnamese and Thai but Vallejo needs some variety. My name for Sonoma Blvd is Pho Street with the number of Vietnamese restaurants on the street. Mamma's opened yesterday and we tried them out. The food is excellent and very generous portions. We ordered the Kimchi pancakes, Bulgogi and spicy pork. All three were excellent and there were veggies, noodles and rice included with the meals. And yes Mamma really is cooking.
I applaud Mamma's for opening during these trying times and urge people to support our local restaurants.
How exciting!! Vallejo's first Korean restaurant! We ordered seafood pancakes, japchae, spicy pork, spicy rice cakes, beef short ribs. Everything was delicious. Please go support local new business!
Extremely quick service for lunch time. I walked in and ordered there and was out of the restaurant within 5 minutes. I was able to orders their pork belly lunch special and it did not disappoint. I just wish there was more meat included in the dish.
The food was good and service was friendly. They're probably still finding their footing as a new restaurant (during COVID!) so it's hard to be so harsh right off the bat. The food has potential to be great! I wish we were given a little more banchan but it was towards the end of a busy night for them. I hope more people frequent here to keep our only Korean restaurant open!
